5 sentences see/hear/touch/taste/feel
Simple- "Piles of books
Very short- "Staggered titles."
Power- "This is a reading rich space."
red/white/blue- "The classroom has textbooks, magazines, and the latest novels.
Adverb- "Messily, books cover all the surfaces"
Preposition- "On the shelves, books on mythology compete with file boxes."
ing- "Looking around I see “The Doll Graveyard", “Guilty”
ed- "Jammed on shelves books line precariously."
W- "What if they fall?"
Writing (The classroom - senses)- Student work
"The class smells like dust and old people. People are talking, loud, and swaying on chairs. Miss wont' let Tyler go to the toilet, and says he can only go if he hands his phone over, how cruel. The chair I'm sitting on is uncomfortable and cold and the warmth of my jersey on my legs makes things a little better, as I chew on my tongue bar in anger."Jaz
Then we did a group exercise with book titles, using them to tell a story.
"One Day I was chilling and I went past animal farm. I hunted down the road to Oxford St.It was the twentieth century so I could trespass.
"Oh, hello, fine English sir. Can I hit you with a verse?"
